Our second trip is an activity trip, traditionally a ski trip, in January. This year we will be going to Idre Fjall in Sweden. The trip has a clear social element, but for many of the students it is also an opportunity to learn how to ski. The personal achievement/victory, which the student experiences by conquering the skis, helps to build confidence. Students stay together in cabins where they must take care of their own cooking, cleaning and to a lesser extent show respect for others and live with them on a daily basis.
In the evenings there are group meetings, where students will amongst other things, practice their personal storytelling skills by reciting tales and experiences from that day to each other.
